Weekend Adventures/ 26 Weeks

We have been working a whole lot these last few weeks. We have been working more hours to save up extra money for things we will need for the condo and baby. This weekend we decided to take a little break and spend some time together. I've been working most weekends the last few weeks. It was so nice to have some time together.

On Thursday we were able to go up to Salt Lake to see Keith's mom and brothers. It was really nice to see them since we don't get to very often. We went out and looked at different things for the baby. There is way to many things that are cute. I'm trying hard to be good and not buy everything I want.  We also went to see The Lucky One, finally, it was a lot better than I expected. On Saturday we decided we needed to go an do something we don't usually do so we went to the rodeo! We didn't realize how many people went to the rodeo but we were still able to get pretty good seats and got to see everything up close! There were a few times when there was some dirt that got kicked up on us. It was really fun to do something different!

There hasn't been much going on with pregnancy beyond the normal things. We went to the doctor on Friday and he said I was measuring a little small but it was nothing to be concerned about because I am small. The baby is doing well and there is nothing to be worried about. I get to do the very exciting glucose test this week... There are some good benefits of being pregnant. I went with my sister to the mall and this is where we got to park!

We are slowly getting things for the baby. We decided there was no point in buying everything new. We are going to get a new travel system but there are plenty of good used baby items out there. Saturday my dad found a crib and clothes for the baby at a yard sale. The crib is beautiful and in really good condition! We are very excited! I am very thankful that my dad is so willing and excited to help us look for things for the baby. These are some of my favorite clothes he got.

Life changes/ 23 weeks

It is so crazy how life happens! Keith and I decided that we wanted to buy a condo and so last Thursday we met with my uncle who is a Realtor to look at what is out there. We found a few places to go look at Friday morning. Once we went through the first one we knew we wanted to live there. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. There is about 1100 square feet in the condo and then 600 ft storage in the basement. It was everything we were looking for at an amazing price. We got our pre-approval for financing and got an offer to the sellers Saturday morning.

On Monday we got the news that there was someone else with an offer in but we were in the backup position. We were a little worried that we wouldn't get the place. Then on Tuesday afternoon we got the news that the other potential buyer backed out and that the place was ours. We waited till Wednesday to see if they would counter offer and they didn't!

It is so crazy how fast everything happened! We are so excited though. We are just waiting to finish our financing and sign the papers. We should be in the condo by the middle of July! We decided that there must be a good reason why things have been going so well with this process so far.

I was thinking about it this week and it has been three years since I graduated high school and moved out to Utah. I would have never thought that I would be in the place that I am now. Now that I am going through it I would never want anything different. I have such a wonderful husband who takes such good care of me. He will be such a wonderful father. I am so excited for all the adventures we are going to have together.

Last time I mentioned that I was having issues and needed to see a cardiologist. I had my appointment yesterday and he said it sounds like my SVT (a link to explain it better than I can http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/tc/supraventricular-tachycardia-overview) has reoccurred. As of right now it is not affecting the baby or the pregnancy. As long as the baby is doing well I don't need to have surgery right now. We will just need to monitor the baby very closely for any changes.

Tomorrow I go in and get a heart monitor to wear for the next month so they can try and get a good reading of the SVT attack. The doctor seemed to think that everything will go well. Of all the heart problems out there this one can be easily fixed thankfully. If everything with the baby, pregnancy and delivery go well they are looking at December to go in and do an ablation just like I had before.
